  1. This "Beowulf" chipper-style benchmark WOD was created by CrossFit Albany (Albany, NY, USA), named after the legendary hero, "Beowulf." We first found the workout posted to CrossFit's YouTube channel - originally from March 31, 2008.

    From the video: "In a legendary time of heroes, the mighty warrior Beowulf was the most prolific of all. He was proficient by sean and land. He also possessed strength, speed, and power for fighting. His character was forged through trial and tribulation. He now has a workout worthy of his name."
